Why CVS?

CVS has dominated the pharmaceutical convenience store space and become the go-to for most patient refill orders/prescriptions. In addition, they have re-engineered themselves into an organization focused on customer health. To prove their dedication they even dumped tobacco products from all their stores. Although CVS has experienced slower growth, their position in the industry enables them to be more flexible to changing consumer habits/demands.

Top dog in the pharmaceutical convenience store space. CVS Health has been able to capture the majority of patients refill orders/prescriptions and is also a great place to pick-up last-minute items. Their push to excel in Healthcare products – dumping tobacco – is a testament to their focus on improving their consumers in all aspects. Slower growth, but good long-term company.
